Some make it in search of the self-sufficiency, others after a productive alternative, but all with the same desires of enjoying the healthy happiness that produces the being rewarded their own effort.

From the simple medic, going by the tulips, cherries, fine fruits, vegetables of all type sink to the cattle production and, in small scale, rabbits and poultry.

But... agricultural goods Not only take place! From the El Maitén Thermoelectric Power Station the energy is generated for the whole System Interconnected Northwest, offering 3MW of electric power for Lago Puelo, Las Golondrinas, El Hoyo, Epuyén, Cholila and Leleque.

And obviously, the tourism that begins to discover that on the edge of the patagonian steppe, among the hills and beside a river lives this small town, cradle of the Old Patagonian Express.
